    SOMETHING THAT’S LONG BEEN A DREAM OF MANY is finally about to become a reality this summer!!  A Reunion Planning Committee consisting of 2-3 members from each of the 11 classes represented has been busy in the planning mode for this BIG and FUN DECADE REUNION EVENT.

    If you didn’t receive your letter and registration form by the second week in January, then please contact us using the information below, so we can include you in on this FABULOUS FIFTIES REUNION !!

       The Class of 1954, and spouses, are invited to Sunday Brunch with Sue and Jim Lee as your hosts.  The address is 159 Edgewater Drive -  beginning at 9:00 a.m.

       The Classes of 1955 and 1958 – along with spouses – are invited to breakfast at the home of Vern and Jeanne Howard beginning at 7:00 a.m. and stay as long as you wish .  DIRECTIONS: by the new High School on Highway 2 West, turn at the Polaris (Big Sky) Shop and follow the signs.

       The following Classes will hold a "Sunday Brunch" at the MK Steakhouse from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m :
Classes of 1950-1953, 1956, 1957, 1959 - 1960.

        Please sign up for this at the registration table at Memorial Center on Friday  night, so the MK knows how many to plan for.  Cost is $7.95 per person payable at the MK Steakhouse on Sunday.

  This is also the week-end of the big RODEO sponsored by Dodge, and held at J. Neils Park.  Additional information on the Rodeo can be secured from the Libby Chamber of Commerce, 905 West 9th Street, phone 293-4167.

Schedule 

Tours that people can take on their own (by providing their own transportation) include : 
Libby Dam - a photo ID is required (either a Driver's License OR a Passport)  Tour times:  Friday and Saturday - 10 a.m., 12 noon, 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.  (Arrive 15 minutes early, and plan on 1-2 hours in length  -  about 1 1/2 miles and includes a couple of flights of stairs. 
Heritage Museum - Open hours are Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. , and Sunday from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m. Admission is by donation.  (Interesting with lots to see.

Friday, July 30th

7:00 pm     at the

"Mark Schoknecht Performing Arts Center"

(Formerly the Memorial Gym)

A time to reminisce and get re-aquainted.

Catered refreshments will be served with a no-host bar.

Class Photos will be taken on Friday night – beginning at 7:30 p.m.

"Silent Auction" (to be concluded on Saturday night.)

The Memorial Center will be open beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday as a meeting place especially for those coming in from out of town.

The Reunion Committee would like to encourage you to bring your Annuals to the Friday night session.  We could have an "annual signing party" by sharing some of those words of wisdom written so many years ago.

Saturday, July 31st

10:00 a.m.     All 1950’s PARADE including classic cars, floats, marching band(s), etc.

11:30 a.m.     After the Parade, the present NEW High School will be open for people to tour the "Hall of Fame"  at 11:30 a.m.
 1:00 pm.   Those who have signed up for the "Hike Along Old Highway 2" should plan to meet the bus in front of Memorial Center at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. 

 6:00 pm.     Social Hour with no-host bar

 7:00 p.m.      BANQUET:  A special catered dinner will be served with a menu of prime rib !      

“Fabulous Fifty’s Program” following the dinner.

 The “Silent Auction” from Friday night will be concluded.   

        There will be a RODEO DAY'S OUTDOOR STREET DANCE and SHOW with the Band, "Playing in Traffic" - Classic and Modern Rock sponsored by the Pastime Bar on both Friday and Saturday nights downtown.
